Hospitality Unit 1 (Senior 3)

Dear senior 3’s,

I am trying to upload the Hw on Powerschool but for some reason it is not publishing, so I am reminding you of the HW on my blog.

So for next Monday you need to hand in the worksheet of K6. Also, I’ve set the deadline of the assignment (the ppt of K6) for the 3rd of January. You can send it to me over the holidays (or before if you wish) via email.

Also a reminder that on Monday we will be doing the Christmas cooking. Keep in mind that in one lesson you have to cook and do the washing up.

Happy weekend 🙂

Senior 1b donations

Dear students

Tomorrow I will be putting the l-Istrina piggy bank again in class. Please get some coins with you to help people who are in need.

I will also be collecting some donations for the AAA to be presented together with the canned food that you got. They need a lot of money to pay for the vet fees, so every little helps.

See you all tomorrow.

Christmas concert reminders

Dear senior 1b students,

May I remind you that today the girls need to wear black long sleeved top and black leggings. Get the tutu with you. The hair should be done in braids as I’ve explained in class. If you have glitter you can put some glitter on your hair line, between the braids. We will have extra glitter for those who don’t have. Regarding make up, as instructed by Ms. Karen, you can wear natural make up, some blusher and red lipstick.

Boys please wear black trousers, black top and the green tie.

Both boys and girls have to wear black socks.

Students who are not prize winners can get casual clothes to change after the item. Those who are prize winners need to get the full uniform (winter one) to be worn during the ceremony.

Students have to be at st. Agatha by 5.45.

See you all tonight.

Christmas Activities

Dear parents and students,

As you might be aware, this year each class has chosen an organisation which we will be helping for the reverse advent calendar activity. My class (senior 1b) has chosen the AAA, an association that helps abandoned dogs. I have contacted the AAA, and whilst thanking us for choosing to help them, Mr. Rosalind Agius explained that what is most needed are dog food, dog treats and donations to pay for vet fees. Thus, each student is kindly asked to get an item on the day when it would be his/her turn (calendar is in the class). Also, I will be getting a piggy bank and students, on a voluntary basis, can give their donations which will then be presented to the AAA, on the 20th December together with the donated items.

Other activities:

On Monday 4th December, we will be having a pyjamas day. Those of you who are coming in your pjs, please also get 50c as a donation which will go for the senior 5 end of school event. Students who are not going to wear their pyjamas, are asked to come to school wearing the uniform.

Also, as from, Monday 4th December students can start posting Christmas cards to their friends or teachers. Kindly write the name of the designated person and the class and put the cards in a post box infront of Ms. Natasha’s office.

I thank you for your cooperation.
